Son Of Popular Evangelist Greg Laurie Dies In Tragic Auto Accident

Christopher Laurie, the son of Harvest Christian Fellowship leader Greg Laurie, died on Thursday in an auto accident in Riverside County. The accident occurred around 9 a.m. in Corona.
Laurie's station wagon collided with a truck involved in roadwork in the carpool lane. Authorities are still piecing together exactly how the accident occurred.
Laurie, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Chris Laurie served as the art director at Harvest Christian Fellowship, sponsor of the popular Harvest Crusade, for the last three years. He is survived by his parents; his wife, Brittany, and daughter, Stella; and his brother, Jonathan.
Chris' father, Greg Laurie, is a popular evangelist who has written several books and is known both for his television appearances and his large "Harvest Crusade" outreach festivals.
According to church officials, Christopher Laurie was expecting another daughter in November.
