About Dr. David Uth
David Uth was called as Co-Pastor of First Baptist Church of Orlando in May of 2005, and began serving here full time on Sunday, June 19, 2005. Dr. Uth has pastored churches in Arkansas, Texas and Louisiana since 1976. Prior to coming to First Orlando, Dr. Uth had served as Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church of West Monroe, Lousiana since 1996. During his tenure as pastor at First West, the church became one of the fastest growing in the Southern Baptist Convention. He has a God-given gift for communicating God's love, with a charisma enveloped in true humilty that continually points to Jesus Christ. "The Lord is my shepherd, I am His sheep - He's all I need," he says.
