About Kevin Hamm
Pastor Kevin Hamm is the senior pastor of Gardendale's First Baptist Church in Gardendale, Alabama which has an average worship attendance of over 3300 each week. He previously served nine years as the pastor of Valley View Church in Louisville, KY which was recognized as one of the fastest growing churches in the country increasing from 300 to 2700 weekly worshippers many of which were brand new believers. Pastor Kevin has the unique ability to hold an audience's attention by communicating God’s Word with tremendous clarity, enthusiastic passion, and personal relevance sprinkled with timely humor. He has a thirst for lost people and for the church. His articles have been published in Growing Churches, Leadership, and Leader Life. He has his B.A. from Western Kentucky University, M. Div. from Mid-America Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Kim and they have three daughters: Lindsey (14), Lauren (11), and Kayla (4).
