Today's Walk is the broadcast ministry of Valley Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California. While we've been on radio for more than 15 years, our first local television broadcast was in May of 2006. In July our broadcast started reaching a national and international audience of more than 84-million households.
Valley Baptist church was founded 20 years ago with co-pastors: Dr. Rodger Spradlin and Dr. Phil Neighbors as a small church in Bakersfield. It quickly grew and today has a membership of more than 7,000 people.
Valley desires to reach the world through media using television, radio and the web.

About Dr. Roger Spradlin
Today's Walk main speaker is the Senior Pastor of Valley Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California since 1983, Dr. Roger Spradlin. He and his wife, Ginger, have four children, one of whom is in Heaven.
Along with his pastoral ministry, Dr. Spradlin has served as President of the California State Convention and has held a number of other offices with the Southern Baptist Convention, as well as the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Spradlin holds degrees from Oklahoma Baptist University, Criswell Bible College and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
