In 2007 the National Quartet Convention celebrated it’s 50th anniversary. Now, three years later, the rich tradition of Southern Gospel Music’s grandest event continues during the week of September 13th through September 18th, 2010, as over 40,000 Southern Gospel Music fans, representing at least 40 states and at least a half dozen foreign countries will converge on the city of Louisville once again as the National Quartet Convention celebrates its 52nd year. More than 70 of the most popular names in Southern Gospel Music will be featured throughout the event, including artists like The Gaither Vocal Band, The Booth Brothers, Greater Vision, The Hoppers, Legacy Five, Triumphant, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound and many others. Additionally, well known soloists including, Ivan Parker, Janet Paschal and Mark Bishop will be a part of this year’s event, performing on the main stage in Freedom Hall. There will also be other musical extravaganzas, including the a variety of showcase and music spectaculars.

Record attendance is expected throughout this week-long event, as nightly concerts will be held at the Kentucky Fair & Expo Center’s Freedom Hall, with afternoon concerts and worship services also scheduled throughout the grounds of the Expo Center. All events on the main stage can be seen by subscribing to the event webcast.
